My son loves sushi so everywhere we travel we try to find a place. The food and service was amazing. I highly recommend checking it out.

We drive 30 minutes at least once a week. They have the BEST salad dressing. I think about it a lot. worth the trip, great prices!

Tried this place for lunch today. They were fairly busy. We were seated quickly, our orders were taken and arrived quickly. The staff was all very friendly. The prices were decent and the food was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place and will be returning again soon! Try the Ichiban Jalepeno appetizer, it was actually pretty spicy and had a great balance of flavor.

The staff was very nice, host & server friendly & nice. Our food was fresh & hot. I had the Habachi Shrimp & Scallop - it was very good. Zucchini, onion, broccoli, carrots were cooked just right - still crisp and plenty of taste. The shrimp & scallops were not over cooked, great taste and texture. Nice clean atmosphere also w/ low volume music Very pleasant dinner - thank you :)

My family has been going to the Ichiban 2 since a few months after it opened. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone! Keep in mind that we usually come here anywhere from three to 10 times a month. I cut my teeth on sushi here, and they alone turned me from a beginner to an enthusiast lol. Their lunch special prices are unrivaled, and their selection is better than most other hibachi and sushi restaurants around. The quality of the sushi has always been very good to me, though there have been days where it was a little lackluster in size or a little brittle in the past. The special rolls are very large and usually have over 11 pieces, so you can easily get a roll and a salad and you'll be full for hours! I love everybody who works here as well, they know us by name and are very polite and wholesome. They see me walking in and always ask me how my day has been and make sure I'm doing alright. Though we have seen a few new sushi places open up locally, I will always be loyal to the Ichiban.

Just come and plan a visit to see a statue of Mothman today. My wife and I trying to look something to eat and we can’t believe in a small town like this has a Japanese Restaurant. The atmosphere was great and the service was excellent! The food was magnificent! My wife has the hibachi lobster and shrimp the portion was huge and the price was reasonable. I have the sushi and sashimi! The food was fresh! I can’t believe how excellent this place is. If we ever plan back to visit Point Pleasant again, we for sure we come back! What a wonderful dining experience!
